Consider
this...When a seed is planted, it NEEDS water before it can break out from its
shell and begin to sprout. It NEEDS water to establish roots. In seeking water,
roots will grow deeper and wider to find it.
Perhaps you
have planted a spiritual seed in the life of a loved one, a friend, or a
neighbor. You have not seen any signs of life...the person that you are
ministering to has not "broken out" of bonds of sin and come into the
Light.
But know
this...God's Word will not return void. Keep sprinkling Scripture, love, and
testimonies of God's greatness as you walk along the way. Every step that you
take is a witness to the work of Christ through you. When you, the
"salt" of the earth, keep walking in love, and radiating the warmth
of the Light of the World, your life in Christ will cause a thirst to develop
in those in whom the seeds have been planted. New life will burst forth with
the Water of the Word. Roots will grow as they seek the Living Water, establishing
a firm foundation in Christ.
