Recycling and Repurposing Your Life

     Do you recycle? Have you ever emptied a nice box and felt like keeping it for future use, perhaps to store something in or to place a gift in so that you may wrap it and give to someone?

     That is how God feels about us...although we were empty, He made us to be useful, and we are valued by Him! He counted us worthy to receive His most precious Gift...His Son, Jesus Christ...so that we might be filled with His Holy Spirit and receive gifts as a witness of His Love and Power. We are to share these gifts for His kingdom purpose.

     You are valued. You are loved. Others may have thrown you away. Others may not have seen your value or worth. But God...He made you...You have value and purpose and you need to see yourself the way He sees you!

     You may feel empty and useless, but don't throw yourself away or give yourself to people and purposes that are not in His plan for your life. Take your empty life and put it into the hands of a purposeful God!

     If you are not a Christian, ask God to forgive you and accept His Son, Jesus Christ into your life. He took the worthless sins of the world to the cross. He bled and died for your sins, trading His life for the death and punishment that we deserved.

     When you ask Christ into your life and your sins are washed in the blood of the Lamb, then you are a clean vessel...ready to be filled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. See that your life is "re-purposed"… not thrown away, but given to a loving Father, God, Who cherishes the life He made.
