Doors of Testimony

I hope that you had a good day/week. Are you slow to say,” Yes”? I encourage introspection… where were you on the day of the worst day of your life? Where are you now? If you are obviously far better... then hasn’t God has brought you a mighty long way?

We can all think of days that were worse than today...so, we have a testimony to share. And although we may not have received a complete restoration, healing or deliverance, we can look back and know that only God could have raised us up from where we were. Praise God for His great mercy and grace!

Today, God revealed to me that our testimonies are actually doors. Testimonies are derived from trials and adversities in our lives…which are common to all people. Both trials and adversities are things that everyone can identify with…they are part of life. When we can enter into normal “everyday life” conversations that turn to “God” conversations, we realize that God took what Satan meant for evil and used it for good. Our compassion towards others compels us to share our testimonies, revealing to people the mercy, grace and power of God. Therefore, our testimonies become doors to the world and uniquely expand God’s kingdom and the Gospel of Christ.

I love Revelation 12:10-11 which says, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.’ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

Be Blessed, In Jesus' Name,
Angie
