All of us have issues. But, in God's kingdom, there are no issues... I had never really thought of that, but it is true. In His will, in the walk, in His truth, we should have no issues. Issues that become present in our lives are of this world and the work of the enemy. Issues that arise are Satan's strategic plan to beset us and prevent us from doing God's kingdom work.
It is difficult not to allow issues into our lives. We are surrounded on every side by discouragement, dissention, depression, difficulties...each are like bricks in a wall that is being built around us to contain us. The foundation on which they are laid begins with an oppressing spirit of fear. When we allow the bricks to be laid, there is a "build up" that prevents the blessings of God to enter into our lives and to be received by us.
Recognizing and identifying the fear that occupies our lives...that fear that magnitizes and magnifies the issues that rail against us is part of the battle. We must realize and know that anything that occupies our lives that is outside of God's will for our lives does not leave room for us to receive the fullness of God's blessing. II Timothy 1:7..."For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but one of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
Through the power of Jesus' Name, we are given the power to overcome the enemy! "Let not your heart be troubled. Fear not. Nothing shall by any means hurt you..." are all scriptural passages that we must remember in trials and discouragement. They are ours to remember when fear comes knocking at the door...
Be Blessed,
In Christ,
Angie
