'Tis The Season?
It has been quite a while since I have posted anything...it doesn't mean that I don't think about it daily. It just seems that I am in a "quiet" season. God is constantly stirring in my soul and spirit, but the words have not come for some of what I am learning and growing in. I cannot really explain it.
I do know that there are times when even God is silent. Between the Old and New Testaments, there was a 400-year period of silence. I can imagine that there were prophets that experienced the voice of God, the stirring of their spirits, they wrote, and then anxiously awaited, longing to receive more. The silence was almost "deafening"... and because it had been so long, most people didn't recognize or receive the Word Incarnate, prophecy fulfilled.
I love to receive fresh revelations of God's Word that have significant spiritual and life application. What is even better is to be able to share them on this blog....along with new pictures that I have taken, new recipes that I have tried, or articles that I write for the newspaper. Maybe this is just a season...at least I hope so. In the mean time, I will have to dig up my flashdrive and find some writings that I have never posted.
There is one significant thing that I would like to share before I close. A couple of months ago, God awoke me in the early hours before daylight, speaking clearly to my spirit, "My eyes are on the penitence four years." I wish that I could tell you that I have clarity on what this may mean, but I do not. I do know that it created a feeling of desperation in my soul, and that it was something that has remained on mind. I trust that God will reveal its meaning in His time...Four years...hmmmm...the election?
Thank you for being patient with me during this season...I appreciate all of you who visit this blog and encourage me as a Christian writer, a Pen in God's Hand.
Be blessed in Jesus' Name,
Angie
