For years, I have seen totally white Christmas trees in retail stores. I could understand snow on the branches of green trees, but I had never really "got" the white Christmas tree until now.
This week, my family and I were in North Carolina and there was a snow event in the upper elevations. The next day, we set out to see if we could find a place to sled and to enjoy the scenery. I never expected to find what we found...totally white trees! It was a winter wonderland on the tops of some mountains, and I will never forget the beauty of it all. I wish everyone had an opportunity to see what I saw "in person". Pictures are wonderful and I am thankful for the invention of the camera, but I am even more thankful for the experience....

Thank You, Father God, for Your beauty. Thank You for eyes that can see and a heart that can feel Your love for me...Thank You, Jesus, for the covering of my sins with Your Robe of Righteousness, just as these trees are covered with an indescribable beauty of ice and snow that reflects the light of the sun. Help me to become a reflection of Your Son and His love...
