The world has just been stopped by a seven year old.
To her delight, a flower is open and it’s color flagged her over to see.
“It is too pretty to pick!” she exclaims, and turns to another.
This one, she gently plucks from the bush with her little fingers,
And she runs with the gift of the promise of spring towards me.
“Thank you, it is beautiful,” I reply, and her world begins turning again.
My world is still stopped, thinking on the beauty of this moment.
I am glad I didn’t miss it.
This opens my eyes and gives new light to the meaning of the expression, “I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.” Not a thing in this world can compare to God’s unique gift of children. We have been blessed in a manner that is really an expression of love beyond our comprehension. God’s love for us is often expressed through our children.
Sometimes, we are so busy, that we miss many of the blessings that God has for us.
Don't allow the things of this world to tie up your life and cause you to miss the precious moments that God uses to express His love towards us.
Be Blessed.
In Jesus' Name,
Angie
