Waiting In Hard Times

Never make a permanent decision in a temporary situation. (T.D. Jakes)

Sometimes we grow tired in life and life's situations. Weariness breeds impatience, and we may take matters into our own hands without prayer and seeking God. Hasty decisions often result in mistakes that could permanently affect our lives.

Problems that loom in our lives obscure our vision. Often, we cannot see past our problems, but God can. He has gone before us. "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." (Deuteronomy 31:6)

How many mistakes we can make and blessings we can miss if we are not willing to "wait upon the Lord"! There are promises attached to waiting..."But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

Christian friend, submitting your life unto God and remembering that He is in control will strengthen you for the days ahead! He has promised peace, and that your latter days shall be greater than your former days! "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts. (Haggai 2:9)

Patiently wait upon the LORD. His timing is perfect...Be still and know that HE IS GOD! (Psalms 46:10)

Be blessed in Jesus' Name,

Angie
