It is already Wednesday, and I have not posted all week. I don't know how time gets away from me so fast. There is a saying, "Time flies when you are having fun"...well, I must be having a ball!
I have so much on my heart...and I could just sit here and write, but squash is piling up...the garden is coming in and it is time to put up vegetables. I am thankful for the bounty with which we are blessed. God is gracious.
I don't think that I will lose the thoughts and what God has placed in my heart, because it concerns all of the disasters that this world is experiencing... My heart breaks for those who have been devastated by the recent flooding and tornadoes. I realize that as they sift through the rubble of their lives, there was nothing that has not been affected by the destruction... except for those who have accepted Christ...He is, was, and always will be...unchanging! I will write and post on that thought later.
Again, I feel compelled to post the poem that I wrote a couple of years ago...
The End Nears
Sins of the world,
Like blasphemies hurled
Distance God.
Signs of the beast,
Hate, war increase;
World at odds.
Earth rumbles, shudders
And violently utters
God’s disdain.
Twisting winds tear,
Destruction leaves bare
Earth’s terrain.
The rains overflow
Rivers of woe
Express wrath.
Hurricanes churn,
Wild fires burn,
Rage in paths.
God’s people prepare...
His message declares
The end nears.

Know that Christ will return! Many prophecies have been fulfilled and the "birthing pains" of Matthew 24:8 are evident, and when "you see all these things, you know that He is near, at the very gates." (Matthew 24:33) "Therefore, you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." (Matthew 24:44)
Be blessed in Jesus' Name,
Angie
