Well, I have put on my strawberry hat...yes, I am a jack of all trades. I write, I sell strawberries, and you never know what I might be doing next. For sixteen years, I ran my own business, so I am also known as the "Store lady" or the "lady at the store." Depends on where you have seen me...so in the grocery store, someone may stop me and identify me as the pastor's wife, the store lady, the strawberry lady, the Spirit lady....it is funny....really!
It is Sunday, so I am the pastor's wife, especially today. But I want people to recognize me where ever I am and whatever I am doing as someone who loves Jesus! I want it to reflect in my daily walk, to effect my work, my family, my friends...even you...in a positive manner. You may ask, how does one become that way?
With all of the busy-ness (you realize I first wrote that as 'business'!) of the world, it is difficult to "maintain". I really NEED that daily refreshing and renewal that the Word of God offers. It is so nourishing to my soul and spirit.
Can you imagine going without a meal for days on end just because you "didn't have time" to eat? Well, when we don't turn to God's Word daily, it is so difficult to receive what we need to stay strong and healthy spiritually. If you "don't have time" and happen to make it Wednesday night, then you might get enough to last until Sunday...and if you don't...then by Sunday, you will be running on fumes!
Let me encourage you to seek God daily. Don't say, "I don't have time." He is the Author and Giver of time...It is a matter of what you do or want to do with what you have been given. If you FEEL like you don't have time, then ASK, and it shall be given unto you, SEEK and you shall find...(see Matthew 7:7)
Have a blessed, blessed week in Jesus' Name...
Angie
